I was going to check a vin number with carfax but it says invalid. does carfax not work on bikes?

CarFax is for cars, trucks and the likes, NO motorcycles.   Solly Cholley.

maybe that's why it's "Carfax"-not "bikefax"
bikes are probably not as traceable thru the vin as a car.

I think some bikes are coming up on carfax, but not all.  If it said invalid, yours (obviously) isn't in their system.

Funny that a search in google for "motorcycle vin check" gets you numerous results from Carfax uglystupid2
