  Here is the first one that I ever flew in.
I was 10 years old and my father was running the
sick bay at Patuxent navel air station.
  They were restoring one down by the river and my dad had
let me go and watch while they worked.
   Later on that afternoon they were going for a test flight.
 The Master Che that was in charge asked me if I wanted to go.
   He didnot have to ask twice.
 Later on my dad asked if I had fun watching them work on the
old girl. I said heck yes we were flying all over the bay. With that I
thought my dad would go through the roof. I didnot know I should not have gone
with them

I used to think that Seaplanes were used to smuggle drugs to the Florida Keys.
I always wanted to check out those in southern FLA.
