I am looking for saddlebag side rails for my 98 Tourer and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with some of the ones that are available... MC Enterprises http://www.westendmotorsports.com/enterprises-saddlebag-rails-valkyrie-1500-tourer-9703-interstate-9901-p-3992.html  and these ones on Fleabay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-VALKYRIE-CHROME-SADDLEBAG-SADDLE-BAG-RAILS-GUARDS-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3cb3b9dcacQQitemZ260713340076QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I know that Hondaline used to have some - but I have not been able to find anyone that has any in stock.

Feedback greatly appreciated...

welcome.  I see this is your first post.

I recommend you do a search for this info to gather as much info as possible.  There has been so much discussion on these options (especially in the past 2 or 3 months) that you should be able to get an idea of pros and cons and then narrow down what information you're still not sure about.

Good luck on your search.

Thanks, JR - should have searched first - have found lots of feedback, as you suggested.  I am going to do the Holy Grail type search and keep looking for Hondaline.

cheers,

not a problem, we're here to help.  This subject has been discussed in great detail and you might find a lot of info.

There are a few out there, just be prepared to pay through the "you know what" to get the Hondaline guards.

Post some pix of your bike when you get a chance and enjoy.
