I want to put chrome trim on the fenders, tank and other places.  I recently saw a Valk with the trim on the bottom or top of the trunk, saddle bags and even on the radiator pod. Is this a good idea?  I know about the glue maybe melting and running out or down the trim depending on the location.  I did this on a V-65 Magna I used to have.  The bike was on craigslist. A 99 in Pittsburg.  It looks good and brings out the lines of the bags and pods.  Anyone else try this???

I have it under my tank on the pinch weld and also on my front fender. I like it, and no problems
