Battery box removal.

Any tricks to taking the battery box out? Also, if one was to remove the engine mount, under the rear of the gas tank, one at a time to paint, would that work, or do I need to block the engine? Standard model.
TIA, Busser

Take out the battery, then look in the box at the back.
You will see a 8 or 10 mm bolt, that holds the box and the
section of fender in.

I've done that. It's the electrical blocks that I don't know how to remove from the battery box. Busser

When I took mine out I pulled the radiator over-flow tank from under the left side cover. Gives you access to the ICM and other relays hanging off the battery box.

You do have to take the radiator overflow out. Then all of the electrical components will be attached to the plastic box by rubber friction grommets and one monster fold over wire tie at the front. You should be able to just pull them off and the battery box will lift out
