Pictures did not post. Which set of exhaust did you purchase? I have not ever heard of a complaint from Mark T exhaust products. They must be good.

I love the way those pipes look. I have an extra right muffler that is in perfect shape, I keep imagining finding a perfect left muffler and sending them off to him to rework... but I really like quiet.
The difference between the super quiet Interstate mufflers I used to use and the Std. mufflers with Honda triple tips that I have now is probably about my limit...

John,
Thanks for putting up the pics. Also for sending me copies. I'd love to see some in a scenic location as well, if you get to take some nice shots when the weather's nice.
Mike, the sound delivered with packs, silencers and organ pipes, which is John's setup in these pictures, is not a lot louder than stock. It's a deeper note, a rumbly timbre. Also delivered farther back, so that lowers apparent volume to the rider as well. John has 40" stacks in these pics - 4 inches aft of the back fender. And extended Organ Pipes which add 1.5" to the length of the stacks, and prevent any resonating within the stacks. Of course, for more volume, just pull the silencers with the organ pipes. Changes the sound, about 4X as loud, and changes the look. Like getting New Car Smell. AKA Chromatherapy.
