forget it.  Times aren't so good.  I traded the Miata and the Highlander in even up for a 2011 Mazda 3 Sport.  Still Zoom, Zoom, tho.

I no longer could afford two cars. Don't even mention " You can't hide money" to me.  Note that I said EVEN UP!

I still have, and intend to keep, the Vstrom 1000.  Hopefully, I'll trailer it to Inzane.

I like the Three very much but it's not the same as the Miata.  However, I'll live, LOL cooldude

Wayne,

Are you gonna install a "holy $hit" bar on the Mazda 3 before we go out for a ride????   2funny

I'm not even sure what that looks like... I'll google it for a picture.

I think of you every time I see a Miata... don't see many around here during winter tho...

I'm looking forward to seeing you at InZane...

Good choice on the 3.  I drove a 6 half-way across the country several years back and was impressed.

However, I don't think I've ever seen a Mazda 3 with a trailer behind it.   ???

If I go, I'll trailer it behind my son's GMC.  He's riding the Valk.  The 3 isn't rated for a trailer.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Congrats!
I think you can put a trailer on it. You can put trailers on anything. I've seen Buicks, Vetts, etc pulling trailers. Heck bikes arn't rated to pull trailer but they do.

Paul, I like the hatch back too but I couldn't quite make the deal on it.  I have the 4 door sedan.  Not quite the trunk capacity but looks nice especially with the spoiler and dual exhaust. The handling is taut and responsive, similiar to the Miata.  Reminds me of a German car.

I especially like the 'goofy' grin because it drives the car enthusiasts "Elite' absolutely nuts! Grin

Brian, I think that the Three will handle about 1200 pounds towing but why bother, I can use Mark's GMC rated at 7,000 towing.
