hey guys, i'm 5'6" and installed an ultimate lowrider which makes my knees kickup a bit while riding. i have iso pegs. does anyone have the peg relo kit? if so, how do you like it? recommended? does it lower you and move you forward? if so, do you have a lower only option on the install? thanks for you input.

I'm 6' and I've had mine for a couple of years now. The kit allows you to lower only, or move the pegs forward too. I rode with them just lowered for a while but have now also moved them forward and my long legs are much more comfortable. The quality of the kit is top notch and installation is a breeze. There is a slight trade-off because you will find yourself dragging a peg in the twisties earlier than before, but not by much, and it is a tighter fit between the peg and shifter, but even my size 12's still fit in there.

I'm 5'8" but have had the same experience at jclinard. The early dragging of the pegs is very annoying to me but I will get over it. While taking a handling skills course, other students enjoyed the sight of this old man dragging pegs much more than I did.

Mario, if your close to the northside of Houston. I have a set that I made if you want to look at some. My are painted black not chrome but they don't show that much , the one for the brake side is completely covered anyway.

Hey Mario, I have a set of the Rattlebars kit that I dont use. Im contemplating selling. Their in like new condition. Not sure if Rattlebars is making them now or not. Last time at their site, they were waiting for a minimum amount of orders to do a run. If you cant get them there, let me know.

The relo brackets are great. That inch or so lower makes a foot of difference. If your a twisties lover I think it would take getting used to though.
Good Luck

I had them on my bike for about 9 years before I sold them. I am 6'3" and they do give you more legroom butI just got tired of dragging pegs all the time-gets old. I went back to stock and added MickOPegs for stretching out.

I've had the Relo kit on my I/S for Many years. I have never scrapped a peg. With 13" Progressive shocks and their springs in the front, the bike sits high enough that they have never been an issue.

I need a set for my Std. Bought a pair from RB last year and sent them back. The chrome was unacceptable. The left one just as well could of been black. At the prices RB sells these for, the chrome should be flawless. Black will be fine for me.

I also had a set installed but took them off because I lowered my bike a couple of inches. The combination of lowering the bike and lowering the pegs didn't work for me. They rubbed too early. If your bike is a stock height, I recommend them.
I would cosider selling mine also. The chrome is flawless.
