All,
Just wanted to let everyone know we are having the 5th Annual Tucumcari Ride In / BBQ over the Memorial Day Weekend. The Host Hotel is the Blue Swallow on Rt 66 in Tucumcari NM, it will be a fun weekend of kickin tires and telling lies, and we'll try to get a little riding in as well.
If you go to the homepage and click on the Tucumcari Event, there is a link to the sign up page and Hotel information.
Hope to see you in Tucumcari.
Steve

Hmm this is new --- links from the homepage require GMAIL log in?

I've got a gmail account --- but Kendall doesn't.  Curious how folks without a gmail log in can access the calendar of events?   coolsmiley

Or is it early and I need my coffee?   uglystupid2

Its a public event on the Calendar, and shouldn't require login.  I just tested it, and it didn't ask me to log in anywhere.  Once I was logged into my Gmail account, I tried again and it still worked. (shouldn't matter either way)

Easier yet, instead of telling folks to go here, and click there....just link to the event website.

I have tried to call (575) 461-9849 the number listed for the Blue Swallow several times and the recording says it is not a working number.  I stayed there last year and would like to do so again.  Does anybody have a different number?  TIA

Hi Jim,

the folks at the Blue Swallow are snowbirds (believe it or not  coolsmiley)  they actually come over to Yuma during the winter and close up the motel.

Here is the link to their website --- send them an email they are always great about responding.

Let us know if you have any further issues.

We all show up on Friday and break camp on Monday. In between there we eat several meals. Since you are only 100 miles away or so you should have time for a few meals and plenty of sit around time. Maybe even follow Bandit around the country side awhile. Bring it!  cooldude

Just got an update from Bill & Terri at the Blue Swallow.

Seems we have a few rooms open --- if anyone knows how to contact Travis & Bouser --- we need to know if they still want their room reserved.

I'm assuming --- unfortunately that Strider & Hard6 will not need/want their room?

Before I start pushing the empty rooms --- thought I'd see if anyone could double check with these guys first??

Bandit?  Chuck?  Steve?  Any of you know how to reach Travis & Bouser?

Checked with the Safari, booked solid with a waiting list  Cry
Can not get through to the Blue Swallow.
Is there any other motel that the VRCC are gathering at?
<must have an internet connection>

I have read mixed reviews about the Travelodge.
Any other suggestions?
