Guys (and gals),  I just installed a set of Cobra front floorboards on my 1998 Standard, and am having problems with the OEM side stand (actually, the thin "access bar" that extends outward - and sits in the small recess of the left exhaust heat shield) impacting the floorboard bottom when fully extended.  I should note that I'm also using the Rattlebars peg-lowering kit.  Has anyone else experienced this - or do I just have incompatible accessories?  If this is common, is there also a simple fix?  In advance, thanks kindly.  Terry (VRCC #22179)

You can gently bend that extension, to a place where it won't hit the floor board.  Take a look at where it touches, and bend it away from that point.  It bends rather easy, so just a tweak will do it.

I have that particular combo on one of my I/Ses. I gently bent the arm until I had enough clearance for the stand to be extended and retracted easily, albeit with a little grazing of the edge of the floorboard.

Been working well since 2002... cooldude

This is Cobra with Rattlebars shift and lowering kit. I was looking for a rubber knob for mine. If I understand correctly.
