Hi

So I am planning to install the 108 - 38 jets on my valk because I am getring the 6 into 6 pipes.

How does that effect the gas mileage? At the moment I get about 220km-240km/tank or about 160miles -170miles per tank, depending on how I ride.

If I keep the baffles in the cobra's - do you still loose some hp?

Everything I have read on here, your answer is "yes".

I know my experience with them was lost HP.   I had MGM on the dyno several times, and different dyno's.  All different hp.

Finally settled on one dyno and went from there.    Added the Cobra's and done some carb work and dropped from 97 to 90.    Ran em for about 5 months and then got real serious in making HP.    Currently on the dyno I had used all the time I can get 100+ hp.    Head work, port and relieve, and Viking pipes.   I'm done playing, MGM is just being ridden, not by me, but it is getting miles added.

just adjust your pilots. if you rejet you can kiss your mileage goodbye!!!!!!!! also don't change your needles but if you have a std. or tourer you can install interstate springs.

Hi, I just bought a Valk and the seller said that he wasn't sure if the previous owner had it rejetted after putting on the Cobras.. The bike is super cold natured and takes a while to warm up, but runs pretty smooth when warm.

If it hasn't been rejetted, wouldn't it run rough all the time spitting coughing, etc? I have become spoiled with FI but remember back in the day you had to rejet putting aftermarket pipes on. I don't guess there's a way I can tell without tearing into the carbs.
