Lots of times you get colder air settling in to the river bottoms etc.  We had ice fog here today and it is staying cold, of 16 work orders that teh housing crew had today 8 were for frozen pipes etc.  We got our first sunrise of teh year on January 20th  - today at noon teh sun was just coming up and it was a bright orange ball shining through the ice fog - it was real pretty and stayed red until it went down around 2 PM.  Supposed to stay cool all week then warm up to about -30 next weekend.  I went hunting last saturday, it was kinda brisk when you got the snow machine wound up.  I don't know about anyone else but I gotta put freezing your mustache to your parka right up there with childbirth on the pain level scale.

Ya gotta start with the tweezers.....the rest pales in comparison.  2funny

Seriously? We huddled inside all day...lol. But the secret to staying warm in cold weather is thin layers starting from underneath. Underarmor is good, polypropylene, and/or silk. I like the silk a lot. It's very light, comfy, and effective. http://www.wintersilks.com/collections/default.aspx?BRANCH=1518~  (The usual disclaimers apply..no affiliation, etc., etc...)
