Will the Valkyrie run on 15% Ethanol Blend?

Gov't(EPA) is upping the percentages if everything pans out from testing.

To 15%.

And Corn Bread Festival in Tennessee being cancelled due to the fact we are running out of corn

because we are using it all in our Gas/Ethanol tanks.(THAT"S RIGHT YOU CAN NO LONGER REFER

to IT AS A GAS TANK),. It's Officially now a Blend Tank.

I have run mine on E-85 !  Low power and low 20's for MPG. At 75 cents less per gallon I'd do it again but its was only 20cents cheaper last time I checked. Need to look at it again.

Handing farmer Joe a few bucks is better than handing it over to a Saudi prince!

Nebraska had a bumper crop of corn this year.

We are good at growing corn and more power to the American Farmer.

I hate to think what it is going to do,, to the machinery we ride.

But as you say it may not hurt the bike in the least.

I've seen Flex Fuel (E85) conversion kits for motorcycles, but only for fuel injected systems.  Hopefully, there will be a Flex Fuel solution for our normally aspirated bikes soon!

As I posted this today in the Tech board, Motorcycles are exempt from the 15% Ethanol blend.

Remember E15 is not the same as E85

When you add in all the subsidies that we pay in taxes Ethanol costs us a fortune.

Paying and subsidizing the burning of our food supply is more than stupid. It borders on criminal and it's raising food prices around the world. Especially since we have so much oil in our own land we could be pumping.

Follow the money,
