I got a new license plate with brake and running lights on it. What wire is what on a 97 Standard brake light? I've tried looking it up but I just can't find it. Thank You

1) Green?
2) Green and white?
3) It look like it is brown?

Before I removed the wires from the license plate, I compared what I removed from what it was plugged into, and they matched. That was an 99' IS.

Is the years matching on yours, why wouldn't the wire colors be the same?

Are you looking at the schematic of the wiring in the Service Manual?

IIRC:

green/white - Brake
Green - Ground
Brown - Run
