Mid 70's and brilliant blue sky here in Dallas yesterday...
I went for a ride.
No where in particular, just rode, wandered around to stores for my various interests, gun stores, motorcycle stores, saltwater aquarium stores...
I've had my Valkyrie for 10 years as of December 23rd of 2010... (Do NOT ask me the date I got married though!)
I've got over 100,000 miles on her...
Several times while out burning off some PMS yesterday the thought kept hitting me...
Damn... I STILL love this bike!

just out of curiosity, do you ever feel bad for stopping in those stores and not buying anything?? i do the same thing you do, (when it's above freezing) and i often feel bad that i don't buy anything.

Naah... I've cultivated close personal relationships with most of my favorites, they know me, I know them, and I DO buy something enough times that it's not a problem, and even when I don't buy things, it's just a friend dropping by to say howdy... |

I warmed up the oil a bit yesterday afternoon also. It was 78 here in SW Okla. yesterday and there sure were a lot of bikes out on the road. Today is a whole nother story!..JTL  |

Thermometer on the car (Yes, car.... Had a car load of friends, kids and guns for a day of shooting out at my land today) read 77 today... And it's okay on the spousal unit if she reads it, she knows I don't remember the exact date we got married, she never remembers it either... We just know it was around Thanksgiving in 2000, and that's good enough for both of us... |

Oh, and if it helps ya'll cope a little bit better, 'sposed to be highs in the upper 20's with snow/freezing rain and other fun stuff from Tuesday through the end of the week next week...
