Bought La Monster risers a few years ago and had my handle bars back as far as they would go without hitting the tank when you turn. Was just wanting a change and bored I guess but I know have moved the bars up about 2 to 3" and man do I like it! She seems to handle very well and what I thought was the most comfortable position with them back real far I was wrong and I really don't have to reach anymore,guess I thought i was helping my shoulders,but I sure like it the way the are now.

Try using Harley Duece 6 inch pullback risers. You can use the stock cables with no problems. I found these to be very comfortable and purchased them through J & P. |

The part # for the La Monsters are LAM-001 threw directline or you can check e-bay as well,I paid $125.36 back in 07. |

I'm confused. What did you do recently? You had the risers on already, but now you loosened the clamps and rotated them up so that the bar ends rose 2-3 inches? Did I interpret that correctly? |

I have the LaMonster (or close enough, rattlebars) risers in a box in the basement. When I put them on I'll try all the positions I can to find the right fit. As long as they end up behind the protection of the fairing, I'll get them as comfortable as I can...

DITTO on the LaMonster did the change 2yrs now and no more pain in the upper back. Now I can ride a lot further. Wish I had done it sooner. |

I've got the bars adjusted so perfect now the cold air barely hits my hands,along with my Baker Air wings I'm good. |
