Ok,
It's just not fair!  You southern folk are posting pictures of your recent rides, and some of you are actually complaining about cool 65 degree temperatures.

This is happening while us northerners are buckling down and getting ready to start shoveling again. We are in line for 10 to 20 inches this week with two separate fronts heading our way.

So, I am proposing a new VRCC rule. When you post those pictures you should post in the heading that the thread may contain objectionable material, just like some do for political posts. That way, we have a choice whether to open the post or not depending on the severity of our depression.  I am sure I am not alone in saying that WINTER SUCKS!

Would it help if I pointed out that, yes, we were nearly at 80 this weekend (Actually had to turn the A/C on), but that we're 'sposed to have HIGHS in the 20's by tomorrow too?

If I lived where it snowed alot, my 2nd choice to ride and have fun and tear it up would be on an artic cat 1100 or something along those lines...instead of well, getting depressed...

JimC, We feel your pain Dude!  I must say that as Southerners our invitation to come South and ride with us is always open.  I have to admit that this winter has been extremely tough on us as well.  I haven't been able to ride every weekend like I normally do in the winter months.  I have cabin fever one or two days every week this winter!  What a bummer! Now come on Jim, you know that you would open those posts anyway!

I think it would be better if you specified what you wanted the title to say....

"Caution! Warm weather advisory!"

"Jim, Do NOT open"

"Caution, Redneck Riding Advisory... Protect you delicate eyes".

"Lookout, Southern Ride Report Enclosed"

Please choose, or specify the one you would prefer..... Ha!

<SARCASM>

I can abide by your rule, with a few provisions.  When it is 110 degrees for days on end down here, don't post anything about the lovely 70 degree days you are having.

And no more posts involving those beautiful fall colors.  We've just got green and brown and nothing in between.

And no posts about winding, twisty roads, or pics of mountains (or even hills for that matter), and definitely don't mention The Dragon!

</SARCASM>

Here is the rule I'm expecting to see next...

With all the cat fighting, pissing and moaning, and general bitching going on around here during the winter months, I'm just waiting for the announcement from the Admins that the General Board will be shut down November - March.  When everybody gets to ride again and can play nice, they'll open it back up.

Yes it does rain alot in Oregon, But that is how we can tell the seasons apart. Warm rain for four months means it's summer. Cold rain for eight months means winter 2funny 2funny
