My Dad played the harmonica. He was on a plane one time with the Harmonicats and they asked him to play with them to entertain the passengers. He did, but he said he was totally outclassed and they were just being nice. cooldude

Since the Harmonicats were before my time (I'm gonna have to Google them, though), my vote for best harmonica player is John Popper.  His band is called Blues Traveler.  Here's just a sample of what he can do:
