Gurus, does the Valk headlight use one of these for the complete unit?

The headlight uses a H-4 bulb.  I think in cage headlights it is a 9003.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. I need to know if one of those part numbers is for the WHOLE headlight unit, not just the bulb. I'm looking to know if these will work to replace the whole part that the bulb fits into (not the chrome shell). This is on a Tourer/Standard.
Thanks

OK, it's official-I suck at explanations. uglystupid2
I am trying to replace my stock headlight with one of these LED units: http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=64057&langId=-1
and need to know which one to order or if they would even fit to replace it.
Thanks again. Hopefully this explains it better. Wink

Google, bing or any search engine can be your friend.  The PAR 56 is a train headlight.  The H6014 is a standard sealed beam incandescent headlight and the H6024 is a halogen sealed beam headlight.  Whether or not the kit you're looking at will work in a Valk headlight shell is anyone's guess.  Check their return policy.  If it's pretty good then buy it and let us know.  You could find the H6014 or 6024 headlight and try it in the Valk headlight shell to see how it fits.   Either way let us know how it goes.

I thought that my Valk has a 9" light and the one in question is a 7".

Be sure to  check the diameter of the light fixture... to be sure.

How hard would it be to use a different shell to fit the 7" lamp?

I use the 9003 Sylvania along with my 55w running lights mounted way down low.

I'm also interested if there is a solution to the LED lamp.

Pulled from an earlier post on headlights.................

               Headlight Bulb

Headlight bulbIts called XTRAVISION 9003/H2/H4 by Sylvania. It costs half as much as the silver star one and its plenty bright. Last night Judy and I came home from the coast at night and I was well pleased with the "whiteness" and the brightness from shoulder to shoulder and depth of vision was greatly improved.

Did you actually read the whole thread and discover that Valker is thinking about replacing his headlight with a LED unit or did you just read his first post and make an assumption?
