No worries, just poking you a little  cooldude.  We come to expect this kind of weather a couple times a year at least.

Hit 80 today. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cooldude
We have had a cold winter as well, cold for us anyways. Killed the last 2 of our Queen palms out by the pool. 2009,'10'11 winters have been some of the coldest I can remember, all strung together in a row. We had 8-10 years of mild winters before that so that makes it harder to take.
I know we are in Florida & some of you would say it doesn't get cold but everything is relative you know! Grin

A bad map and a long ride in Northern New Mexico!

Jacksboro, TX

« Reply #10 on: February 02, 2011, 07:23:32 AM »

Its 12 here in Jacksboro, TX.  Low was about 9.  That is extremely cold for us.  We have about 10 inches of snow on the ground with a sleet/ice sheet under it.  The wind is blowing about 15-20 mph.  It is a bit rough for us flat landers!!!!

The only thing I have that will cut through the mess is my old 13000 lb 1982 F-350 welding truck.  My new dodge is useless.  We usually don't need 4wd, right now it would be nice.  But dual wheels and lots of weight do pretty good.

I guess I could drive my old 53 Willys m38-a... but no top or heater.. brrrrrrrrrrr...

Stay warm, I am inside doing the ham radio thing today.... and maybe a nap or two  Grin

come on warm weather... I need a bike ride!

5 below zero coming to work this morning (central Utah, edge of the desert).

Radio says 33 below in Craig Colorado this morning.

If it were 62 degrees here I wouldn't be shivering, I'D BE RIDING!!!
