I have a burgundy/cream 99CT that has chrome bag cover guards/rails on both bags.  The right bag has a large road rash on it from the previous owner.  It will need to be sanded and painted.  Both covers have the auto trim on them.  If any one with the same bags that wants these cover rails willing to swap even, I’m willing.  We swap covers, you will have to get them painted, but will get the rails for free.  I don’t know if this is a good deal or not, I just don’t want the rails, but the tops are drilled.  Contact me at Bcantell@aol.com if your interested and I’ll e-mail some closeup pics.

Those look like hondaline racks. If they are in good shape, you could sell them and get close to the amount it would cost to get the bags fixed and painted. A good painter can fill those holes where you would never know they were there  cooldude

T-bird,  I thought of that and If no else wants to do the deal I'll go that route.  I'll need a painter anyways, cause the tank and bags bottoms are messed up.  Anyone no a good body man in New England or NY??
