I am thinking about trying the rear tire installation on the front.  For those who have done this how is it working out?  I understand that a popular size for this is 130/90/17.  I also understand the theory of mounting a rear on the front backwards to take advantage of the tire belt bonding orientation.

I am looking for info about longevity, handling, and any other useful information.

Thanks,

Greg

I running one on each of my bikes. While I was home I was able to give them a try on some curvey roads. Held great. I have around 4 or 500 miles on each tire. I can't tell any difference. I'm running the Avon 130/90/17 on mine. Also my speedo reads the same as the 150/80/17. Also running them backward.

Thanks Dave.  I have Avons on now also.  Time to replace the front.  The rear is new, well, new before the winter hit.  There is no problem running the bias front with the radial rear?
