That is a 79 shovle head we also have a 73 shovle that will be donating parts. Two into one I hope !

That front end looks like a Heritage Softail... but the rear end surely doesn't.... At least the wheel and the shock mounts.... That should make a dandy little scooter to putt around on... Good Luck with your project! That should turn out nicely!

That project is a bit more than re-polishing. Should keep you busy for a while.
I'm envious, I don't have time for a real project so I washed mine and kept riding instead.

I got an old 70 model that I had not ridden since 02 I cleaned out the petcock and dusted off the points and it fired right up. Hard to beat them old Shovels
