Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Well, you know me....with the present economy, I am a firm believer in "the cheaper the better".  That is why we stayed in that dive in Dodge City, Kansas that time!  2funny 2funny 2funny

Anyway, I was out cleaning Traveler up after the trip out to Texas last time in - she sure appreciated it!!  You know, for an ol' girl with over 80 clicks on her, she sure cleans up nice and seems happier for it.....

Anywho, I found an old Schwinn water bottle holder I had bought for my Standard a couple of years ago.  Dug around in the garage and found a 90 degree piece of angle iron and dug around some more and found a nut and a bolt that would fit.

Mounted it to the flat iron bar that Texas Ranger had installed for me to mount a camera to my bars when we went to IZ in Colorado.....

Price of angle iron and nut and bolt - zero.  Price of Schwinn water bottle holder - zero (since I already had it).  Being able to carry my Poweraid and coffee - PRICELESS!!!!  cooldude

Talked to Hard6 this evening and will run over for some new rear skins next week and then who knows where the wind blows, if ya know what I mean.  I got some soot I need to blow out of my pipes.....Road trip sounds good to me.

Had one that I put on the day that I totaled Shadowfax on the standard with the Hondaline bracket and windshield.  Idea actually came from Yusiki (from Japan that we were riding with that day).  He went to Walmart and bought one and mounted it to the nut on the back of the hardware - shown in Junior's picture (the chrome left and right ones).  I bought one and mounted it that morning.  I bought another one when I got back home thinking I was going back to a Standard.  Even after I got the IS, I thought maybe getting extended screws and mounting it to the fairing, but thought....NAH.

I had the ones for a bike that you mount on the handlebars that was the same that I had in my old boat...don't remember the name, but I hated it because it would tilt and drop the bottle while riding - plus you never could tighten it enough to keep from dropping down if you had a heavier bottle of water in it - Something (drink) mate or something like that - when I had my boat.  No, it may have been called something (drink) bouy....anyway, I didn't like it and chunked it as soon as I could.

Junior, I like the way you mounted it in the center bro!!!  I like that!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Looks good guys! I have one that mounts the clamp. It folds down and up when empty. Its the black square thing on the left. Thx to six2go, bought it from him. Its also adjustable for all beverages.
