 I had my " Fat Lady " starving for gas when I was getting up in the 4500 - 5,000 rpm range and ordering a new cover set sure did the trick now she's back to normal good as new Grin ..... Thanks to everyone to gave the good advice about my problem cooldude Thanks the Geezer crazy2

Glad you have it solved (for now) word of warning from one whos been there....I did the rebuild thing, was very happy for a while then the switch side wore out.  That OEM thing is a piece of junk...once you start needing to rebuild it, its life is almost over, dont get to comfy with it

what is the best option for a new petcock .My Valkyrie has about 100000mi on it and I have no service history so am doing a bit of catch-up untill spring untill we are back on the road again. One thing that is nice is the vacuum shut-off for the times when I forget to shut off the valve.
