I have been thinking of what I call a sport fairing. I guess I will have to get around and see what's on bikes today. I'm not interested in the batwing type. Before I decided to get the Valk, I was looking at Dyna T-Sport's. That type of fairing is what I think I want, Taller shields are available, but those fairings are more rare than any Valk parts.

If the time was available, I would be laying out a pattern and heat forming something?
  or
I got cardboard to start and can get alum. to finish, anybody tried anything?

Rifle makes (or made one) similar for the valk a while back.  Not sure if this is the style you are looking for though.  Just depends on if you want the headlight built in?
