Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

We had ( 4 ) Valkyrie's show-up this cold morning for the ride to Cumberland Gap. Big Al , Smooth Rider ( Greg ) Misunderstood ( Dave )  and Smokin'joe .Big Al was having some trouble with his horns not working and at every stop he would work on them.

Going through the tunnel was a blast with all the cool lights they have inside Big Al and I was turning the loud exhaust into beautiful music inside the tunnel. No pictures of the tunnel but trust me it's cool  cooldude
Next stop the top of Cumberland Gap this area of Kentucky , Virginia, Tennessee has some beautiful scenic views and spectacular rock formations.

We came in from Tennessee and found the Kentucky / Virginia state lines . Picture below Dave with one foot in Kentucky and one foot in Virginia.

This is Middlesboro , Kentucky as seen from Cumberland Gap.

" The Money Shot " ....Great ride today it was in the low 30's when we started and warmed up into the high 40's .

Good Weather.

Good Folks.

Great Riders.

Nice Scenery for February.

My Horns went down due to a Relay in a very easy place to fix them.

The relay I was not even sure existed (REMEMBER I BOUGHT THIS BIKE USED) took me

3 hours to find.

Under the Gas Tank, just ahead of the filter box, and of course I had a full 6.7 Gallon Interstate

tank to remove.

Will be a cheap fix, just hard to find.

Honk Honk they went with a Jumper wire.

Will finish up tomorrow.

With a empty Tank.

Oh yeah and my right Glove SOcket on my Harley Gerbings gave up the ghost as well.

ALLs good though, little things are just that,,,,,,,, little things.

Thanks for the Pics Joe, you always come across with the  good views.

I'm the lone cheapskate in the bunch. Maybe for next season I can get the gerbings. For now just the long johns.  cooldude

Well the Horn Problem is solved after finding that pesky horn relay/lighted accents or blue lights.

That cost me 5$ and about 5 hrs. of work.

At least the guy who owned the Interstate before me was a electrical genius.

Incorporated the accent lights into the Horn Relay.

Now the horn blows and I know the valk will start on reserve with .5 Gallons in the Tank.

Full now and washed and waxed and ready for the next salt ride.

AL

PS I bought a new set of Gerbings today, can't hide money.

The old set I thought Harley would replace on the spot, well that is a farce and they send them

back to the manufacturer as well.
