Speakers in the memphis shades batwing?
«

Hey all,
I did a search and found much info. on the memphis shades fairing. Couldn't find what I'm wondering about. Is there room for speakers to be mounted in the memphis batwing? I know there is no place for a stereo, I don't need one. I just want to use an i-pod and an amp to the speakers. The pictures I've seen of the backside appear to make it a no. I was hoping somebody with one could tell me if there is any flat areas where holes could be cut out for 5 inch speakers.
Thanks,
Matt

hey matt,
http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?Category_ID=50&manufacturer_ID=906&product_ID=73333&sblid_name=Hogtunes_Speaker_System_for_Memphis_Shades_Batwing_Fairing&model_id=8
and check out bkrider.com. they have it for $100 less.
you'd need to relo the gauges.

That is a pretty sweet setup and very much what I'm looking to do. I definitely don't want to move my gauges though. With the fairing off and those gauges mounted way up on the bars it looks re-donk-u-less. imo.

i have a batwing on my sabre and this is the speaker setup i have on it.

i'm trying to figure out if i want to get the forementioned speaker system for my sabre batwing and switch out this system and put it on my valk, or save my $ and get the valk fairing with the speakers in it. i'd have to relo the guages if i did the fairing.
