Anyone heard from Scott & Joni?

Just wondered if they were high and dry, or is it wet and snow bound?

Sound off Scott, some of us old farts are worried about ya and da Bride.

Here's hoping you are not covered up in snow.    Cause it ain't NO fun.

I'm not sure about other parts of the state, but we got 2-3 inches & a 30 mph north wind here in the SW part of the state.  It was forecast to be heavier north & east of here.  I spent most of the morning in Lawton.  Not much traffic and the streets were pretty good to drive on even though they were snow covered in spots...JTL

Hey, RJ, we're okay here in the snow in Kansas.  I just thought I'd let you know in case you're worried about us too.   2funny

Twelve inches must've been last week.  The heavy portion of this storm slipped by just south of us.  We got a few inches added to what's still on the ground from last week.  It was easy shoveling in the driveway, but the piles will be there longer than we're accustomed to seeing them.

THAT IS JUST AN OUTSTANDING PICTURE!!

It REALLY needs a "caption this" thread.

Cummon guys, pony up a caption.

Following his recent git-off, Carl had a hard time getting on his bike, so his wife would lift him up and set him on on it............. to the amusement of everyone in attendance.

Careful, there.  That's not my wife.  She's Scott's wife, my good friend, Joni Oakes.  She actually picked me up twice, once to prove she could and once more to get the picture.

I was about 185 pounds at the time and offered no assistance in the lift.

Willow, is there a connection with the "puppet" comment and the fact that we can't see her left arm? 2funny

OK, my amended caption:

But the ventriloquist caption has my vote, so far

We're quite well Russ.  We got 12" last tuesday(with 45mph winds) and the whole state pretty much shut down for two days.  ODOT is not really equipped to handle that kinda snow, so it took some time to clear the snow enough so people could get out.  I was snowed in at home for a day because I couldn't past the snow drifts in my neighborhood streets.  6-8' drift blocking the neighborhood entrance.

We got another 6" last night but I was up and out the door by 5:30am with no problems getting to work. (Joni had to carry me out to my truck tho  cooldude  Cheesy  Shocked )

You can see her left hand.  Perhaps you're not looking closely enough.   Smiley
