I sold the lady.   Cry  The 99 Interstate is gone. I picked up an old mans bike.   Roll Eyes  A 2008 Goldwing 1800cc. Rides like a dream, goes like H*LL, and handles nothing like the lady did.   Cheesy  Can I sill leark in the back round and add comments, or do you want me to go away? Embarrassed

Stay, please, but don't get offended by Dairy Queen jokes. Smiley  I think there are several here who have moved on to other bikes.  Some have returned to the Valk.

I'd say stick around and see what happens next! Cheesy

It's not what you ride but that you ride..... just cuz you updated your motorcycle doesn't change you or us....I had an 1800 Wing for a bit and they didn't kick me off here....

I think the moniker is "For people who own the Honda Valkyrie or are interested in the Honda Valkyrie..."

You have owned one, so I'm sure you are still interested in the bike, even if it is getting older and ..... well.... just stick around if you will.... we have grown fond of you.

As an alternative, there are some Goldwing sites that you may want to check out.... that have information re: Honda Goldwings, etc. Tech Info, For Sale Items and such.

stay...we have a '99 I/S, a 2000 trike, and a '06 Goldwing, Beekeeper went darkside on both his bikes, the I/S and the GW....he rides them both, rides daily, he's even pulled the front tire off the ground on the GW, when I was on back....  tickedoff

I think a lot of people are dispelling the myth that the Goldwing is just for old farts....heck, I even heard a rumour that Magoo was looking at a brand new GW just the other day.....waiting for him to come by our house with it  Smiley

I have been on the olderside for a few years, turn 70 tomorrow, and went the other way.  Bought a Kawasaki ZX1400, and a Kawasaki Concours 1400.  Of course I kept the Interstate, and the custom Valk, but the I/S barely gets ridden enough to keep the battery up these days.  Just got in off the ZX14, and man what a hoot.  Prolly be unloading the Interstate soon.  Think the Concours 1400 will be my cross country rocket, it does it all, just ordered a Corbin seat and Smuggler trunk for it.  Will keep the custom as I put too much blood sweat and tears into it, and made it uniquely mine and I do dearly love it.  Besidesit carries my handle on the tank, and who else would want that.  Stick around, its fun to be different.

I traded my Valk in November for a Victory Vision, comfort factor, but still a lurker. I think this is the best mc site there is.

Hey stay in touch , let us know how you're doing with the Geezer Wing, lol!
You're not going to be pulling a "Jazzy" behind it are you, lol?
Sorry had to say it,lol! 2funny
Now if they put thaat engine in a regular Valkyrie they'd sell lots of them, better yet bump it to a 2000cc and i'd quit looking at the "Rockets"! cooldude
