I started doing some comparison shopping. Been with State Farm forever (45 yrs)
Prigressive is about 300 dollars a year cheaper on my bikes (3), about the same on the cars.

I asked about adding uninsured motorist to the bikes which would jump the premium from 473 a year w/o it, to 1686!, with it. As I have medical insurance and comp and collision on the bikes, is it really necessary  to have the uninsured coverage?

Any ideas on other companys to check into, with good prices and service?

Wish I could help bro. My ins. agent I have known since I was a kid takes care of all that stuff. He knows me, knows what I need and do not need. Coverage can change because your children are not in the house anymore or you turned a certain age or your job changed just so many variables. I guess I am lucky to have a guy like Rick as my agent. Good luck Bill, wish I could help ya!

check out Safeco, they have treated me well for several years.
Be sure to ask about "stacked" coverage. It is helping me with a claim (hope like he11 I never have another).
Soon more will chime in. Remember rates vary widely across the country so don't be put off by some very low rates you'll hear about. And coverages also vary widely.

One word Dairyland, these folk only deal with the more mature good driving record old farts like me and most valk riders. Will beat the tar out of progressive only phone quotes so got to talk to a live person! https://www.dairylandcycle.com/motorcycle-insurance/  PS no fault in FL is a good thing if you can bear it. I think the thing is having them pay for suein if it has to be done while your getting better on their dime. Your medical unless its super runs out quckley when in the hospital for a while.
