Title says it.  Anyone ever had their Valk tires done at Wally?

Mase

ETA:  Just swapping tires off of the wheel.  I will do the removal install myself.  when I take it apart I do all of the maintenance that should be done while the new tire is coming on.  Even when I have had a stealer do the swap they do not touch my bike.

From what I've seen at the local "Wally World" I wouldn't get my car tires changed there..let alone bike tires...

Would not let them touch it.  I fix cars and trucks for them every time they have a wheel come off one.

When I went darkside, buying my CT from Les Schwab, they refused to put it on, same with all the tire shops in town..ended up taking the tire/wheel to a local V-twin shop..cost me 50 bucks...had to mount it twice as he had the direction wrong the first time...ain't it great to pay someone to screw it up for ya..!!!!!
ONE thing I have to say for "Wally World" is that they do have the best prices for tire change/rotation/etc...and at this particular time actually have someone here that know how to use a tire changer..

I do believe one of my next big expenses will be a tire changer of my own..

Local tire shop 7.50 to mount, dyna beads to balance. I take tire and wheel to him. He just shakes his head and laughs while he mounts the CT.

Mase, the Discount Tire in Corinth has mounted DS tires on loose wheels for us.  Ask for the manager.  7700 S Interstate 35 E, Corinth, TX 76210, (940) 497-0320

They can't balance.  Go with the beads.   cooldude

I don't remember.  It might have been a throw-in as the DS tire was purchased from them.

Six Guns, you out there???

mase... if you look at dyna beads directions, they say if you run them in a car tire, you need to balance with weights first, and then install the 2-ozs. of their beads in addition to the weights.  i figured that if i was going to have to balance with weights, then the heck with the beads in the c-t.  i still run the beads in the front tire.
