start?  around 9ish
finish?  when we're done
where?  Lyn-Del's  (if you need directions, let us know!)

I don't know what I'll be putting out for lunch yet, but to the best of my knowledge, I haven't killed anyone with my cooking!  Coffee, soft drinks, and water will be available.

Bring your own oil, brake fluid, etc.  We have just about any tool you may need available, so don't let lack of tools hold you back!

Yea!, I've got a dry rotted fuel hose... Haven't pulled that gas tank yet. I think 5/16" fuel line will be the right size?? Anyone for sure?

That's correct Bruce.  Get more than you think you need.

Concur on the "more" comment.  It's very easy to cut, and very hard to stretch.

Phyllis:  Thanks for posting this, as I can't remember which way is up most of the time, much less remember to post things we had agreed to.  (:
I'll be there, but will be a little late.  Got a date with my daughter for an activity that morning.

Hey, Paul

Are you still stuck in Houston?  Or just enjoying springtime?  Rather hard to believe these nice balmy days and seeing the new growth on trees, etc.  Even the azaleas are starting to bloom in the front of my house.

Hope you can make it out Saturday, I should be there with many others.

See y'all in the morning.

P.S.  I'll be bringing Dublin Dr. Peppers thanks to 5_19 (TJ)!
The ones with real pure cane sugar, not high fructos corn syrup.

With predictions of potentially heavy thunderstorms, we weren't sure how many would brave the weather for today's wrench party.

We had no rain at our place to speak of, so we proceeded as normal, getting bikes moved out of the barn just as folks began arriving.

We had 7 Valkyrie riders (plus Wizard and I) here for the day.  Four bikes were the day's projects.

Accomplished tasks included:

4 bikes - brake and clutch fluid changes
2 bikes - rear brake pads changed
1 bike - braided steel cables installed for clutch and front and rear brakes
1 bike - air shocks installed
1 bike - radiator coolant changed
1 bike - rear brake (stop) switch tracked down, fetched, and replaced (two dealers told me the only place that had them was in Kentucky, fortunately, they were wrong!)
1 bike - petcock rebuilt
1 bike - oil change
1 bike - rear end service

16 burgers grilled and consumed

And more to come tomorrow - "unofficial" wrench party here again!!

Thanks for having a second day of wrenching, the cats and dogs started here at about 3:00AM this morning and lasting until about 2:00PM. The temp dropped to 52 degrees and quite windy. Hope I can make the ride tomorrow, maybe Jimmy still need additional help.

Another very good wrench party hosted by Lynn-Del and Wizard, as always. Their hospitality is always over the top and wonderful. We had a second day of 'trivial pursuit' with my girl and we did an electrical lobotomy from under the tank.
there were several hot wires resting quietly under the tank. Wizard was tired from multiple projects.
taking it easy in his 'Dragon's Lair'.
Early Bird was sounding off about the virtues of a clean bike.
A good time was had by all.

Red Diamond was examining a headlight shell.
I am not sure if cleaning the air filter had anything to do with it, or if the moderate ride back to Crosby was it, but  the ole girl seemed to be breathing easier. I'll wring her out tomorrow morning. turns out I did not need a new fuel hose from the petcock, but I did manage to remove a dirt dobber nest from some of he vacuum lines. Had a great time. I missed the burgers yesterday, but we chowed down on pizza today. cooldude

Great Day, thanks to Lyn-Del and Wizard for their wonderful hospitality. Enjoyed the daylong conversation and stories, the knowledge of Wizard and Early Bird. Glad to meet Blotar (Bruce) who gave me a great escort and introduction to his wife Diane.
                                                                          Thanks Again,  Eli (Red Diamond)

For the record, I got new pads all around, not just the rear...

That Rocket, is the results of trivial pursuit.

Believe it or not, that is not the most informative response I've received.
