Check out XF6...

http://www.xf6-custom.com/partpages/tach2.html

Daryl is a VRCC member, and a sponsor  Smiley  He knows the Valk inside and out, and makes some very cool stuff for the Valkyrie, speedo & tach relocation kit being one of them.

Daryl at XF6 is one of our supporters/vendors, has great products to offer and one is a set of brackets that relocates your gauges to the handle bars. Check his site out.

Memphis Sades fairings have a big following. Rode a friends Tourer with one-better than I expected and it looks good. I believe "Rifle" makes a nice one too.
If you are handy, you can relocate the speedo/tach with a home fabricated bracket. Did it on two different Valks-up an inch or so and back the same. That's all the stock cable/wires would allow. Did not want the "in your face" look of bar mounted.
Be patient, there will be lotsa good advice coming.

Sticking with those that help keep the lights on around this place, take a look at Woody's!

Glen is a member and club sponsor too  cooldude

Glen was at one time one of the wizzards at Hoppe, and has gone out on his own...  He rides a valk, and after seeing his product, there really is nothing better on the market  Wink

I put a Memphis Shades on my Tourer, a bit 'o work
to get her on, but I didn't have to relo the gauges.
However, there was no speaker pkg. avail., I think
you'd have to use bar mount speakers, underseat amp,
you know.

I saw a big Yamy cruiser last summer with a Woody's fairing,
four big honkin speakers, beauty piece 'o work.
I think he had to relo his gauges. Big difference in price
between these two ideas, if I'd had that extra,
I'd have gone Woody's.

also, is that the f6 tac/speedo clamps on your bike?

Yes those are the XF6 relo kit on my bike. You will also need to get a longer speedo cable. You can also order that from XF6. You can slide down the signal lights be loosening the allen screws on them. Very easy to do all of them, even the head light relo. XF6 will answer all of your questions you have about them, and so will I. XF6's quality of work is excellent, and so is Woody's cooldude

I have a Wide Open Customs Fairing in Kanasas on mine and like it a lot. No relocating of the tach/headlight because the radio is mounted up high and the tach and speedo nestle right under the radio, but I did move the headlight housing 2" forward with a billet alum bracket from Daryl at XF6 (www.xf6-custom.com) and also some 1 ½ chrome spacers and longer bolts from ACE hardware which also moves it down some to fit in the opening correctly. I like the look of the headlight being even with the forward edge of the faring instead of recessed back into the fairing. The radio is their upgrade to a marine Sony (iPod ready and USB fro MP3s) with 4 Sony speakers which sounds great. The fairing is constructed of a high impact ABS material that you paint whatever color you choose. The mounting brackets used are from Memphis Shades (not included) and the fairing removes easily with 4 bolts and one wire connector.  It uses any standard HD batwing windshields and I have Freedom wings on the outside of it to direct air. I’ve had mine on for 2 years without any issues, cracks, etc. Hope this helps you explore the options. FYI, I have no affiliation with either company, usually disclaimer stuff, yada, yada.
