Scott, I frequently access the general and tech boards through my smart phone, but on the mobile site the links to pictures and other articles are not active. Is it possable to activate those links for us Crackberry addicts?

The answer is yes, and no. Is it possible? With a considerable amount of modification, yes. Will I do it? Probably not. Here's why. Your blackberries identify themselves most likely as a wap2 device to the message board. (thats how my wife's blackberry is) There is a web standard that defines how to display web pages to any wap2 device and thats how the content is served up. If I modify it so that it looks like you guys want it to on your specific blackberry, it will mostly likely be really messed up on any number of other wap2 devices out in the wild. Its sad really, at how archaic the browsers are on most all blackberries in the marketplace. Especially considering how good the competition is. I know you crackberry addicts do love your phones but there isn't much I can do. (except to tell you to get a real smartphone! ) -Scott

Scott - Along the same lines, and I know your priority these days is tracking down that nasty SQL issue, but... Any chance of getting Tapatalk installed on the forum? http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin.phpIf you're not familiar with it, it's a quick and easy plugin (At least, installing it on the vBulletin forum I run was dead simple) that enables a smart phone app to work with the forums... And... there's a beta client app for Blackberry's...

(not an insult) Everyone is using a mobile device and if your not, you will be. As technology goes forward, this site stands still. I've read in another thread here about the negative effects on site advertizing "Tapatalk" would have. How is it that there are so many other sites using it if it effects advertizing so bad? Just wondering.......

My iPhone, iPad, and iTouch work just fine on this site. My $.02. Posted with iPhone 4, not 4s. Hay Jimmyt

My lowly iPhone 3 works very well with this site, and since the iPhone 4 came out, the iP3's can be had for not too much money.

My Blackberry phone and Playbook work fine as well.
The point is, the apps make it way easier to navigate the sites. Seems the majority of social sites use the apps.
