Has anyone else swapped out the guide and slider bushings when changing the front fork fluids and seals?  I just put my second new set in because Honda told me to in the service bible.  I had to much copper showing.  Last time I did it around 5 yrs and 50k ago, I don't remember much of a change.

My general rule is if it's hard to take apart and put back together, I replace ALL wear items when I take it apart.

I got all the stuff in the book marked as "wear items" when I did my forks... then I only changed the
ones that showed wear, but I was ready for whichever ones those were... we'll see if they're
the same ones... but I'm still going strong after three+ years...

I change them every time (# 3 coming up soon).

My Valk forks seem to hold up for about 50,000 miles of enthusiastic abuse.
