Whazzup????

Well I replaced the front fork seals and front fork springs, then I replaced the sparkplugs and recharged the K&N filter.  After that I installed an electric fuel cutoff switch and cleaned and checked the petcock.
Then I replaced the stock ICM with a Dyna 3000 set it at 3 and took a ride today.  It runs like a scalded dog now!  I just hope it helps some with the mpgs as well.
Took off onto I 20 to get a feel for the speed.  The power curve is off the chain cooldude.  Took off and was doing 95 by the time I was ready to merge into traffic.  I backed off the throttle, looked at the car next to me and apparently the guy in the car in the outer lane was an unmarked trooper police.  He looked at me and shook his finger at me and kept going.  I just fell in behind him and kicked it up about 75.  Not many miles but a satisfying afternoon ride.
We are ready for Cheaha,  Blue Grey Ride, and or any other rides that come up in the meantime.  I know a lot of folks here have been laid off and lost jobs, etc.  But we been working our a$$es off here in Lugoff.  I am ready to get away, ride, drink some alcohol and catch up with everyone.

Ride safe

I look forward to seeing you Tim and Sherry.  Your right never too much.    Looking forward to the fun.  Spent the afternoon shining the paint and chrome up.  Too bad it is raining, I really wanted to see that spit shine in the sun.
I do so love the view up on the mountain.  I just wish we could ride Talladega again.  DAMN what a rush!!!  Work on that for next year again ok????  I will be the first to sign up for both groups   Cheesy
See you in 18 days and counting.

Ride safe til then

We ALMOST had laps on the Barbers track for this year! but, they decided it was just TOO crowded and busy with the races going on and 30,000 people....to let us do it. Could you imagine about 100 Valks...going around the track....with 30,000 people watching? That would be cool.............

Yea, the few times i hear someone who was at Cheaha last year....say they MISSED the Dega "experience"...and then say "well, i don't see why it would be such a big deal". Everytime i hear that (which is NOT often).....i just look at em' and shake my head and say "yea, you had to be there to understand". EVERYONE that went on that track....went thru that tunnel....felt those goose bumps....expereinced that rush.............WE KNOW. those that haven't done it, aint got a clue......... laugh
