 We Regret to inform you that Two Wheels Only will cease operation on March 15th 2011

We'd like to thank all of you who supported this establishment and the local community for the last 29 years. It's been a fun ride!

Unfortunately the inheritors of the property that Two Wheels Only sits on would not renew the ground lease, do a month to month rent until they sold their property, or sell us the separate parcel of land that the resort is on.

We'll keep you updated on what's happening.

how sad. i was just thinking about that place the other day. i was thinking how sad it was when 29 Dreams resort closed in Bama a few years ago....after many years (but not NEARLY as many as TWO) of operation. 29 Dreams seemed to be doing good....but then it went belly up. Then another more recent (and not so good) resort, Indian Hills Motorcycle resort...about 20 miles north of me...went belly up this winter (but i won't miss it much).

So i thought, well at least i can still go over on a short ride (about 250 miles) and visit TWO....it's been there FOREVER! now to hear this is indeed sad..........

it was a GREAT place...with good food...and fantastic roads ALL AROUND IT!  Of course, the good roads are still there............but sounds like the great destination in the middle of all those roads may be going away............

I never visited TWO but I heard it was fantastic!  I remember when it opened.  I believe a retired airline pilot and his wife were the first owners, am I right?
