This is my fist attempt at pictures, hope it works..     Saddlebag Rails hit the bags after installing HitchDoc.
No amount of spacers at shock tower would correct this "rub", without putting a "tweek / stress" on the chrome rails.   So I drilled the "nipple" out (left and right), slid it out 1/2" , then rewelded it (tacked it),  then used a chrome spacer (same dia. as the rail- which I got from my local bike salvage yard).   Hardly noticeable unless you are looking for it.      I have more pics if interested.    Vinnie

Nice work! I have a hitch doc in my garage waiting to be installed. I also have the guard rails. I don't know that I could be so lucky as you at finding just the right chrome spacers. Nice solution though. I'll be thinking about what else I could use that would disappear like your spacers.

Just remember to coat all the edges with clear fingernail polish to prevent rust. Wink
