I am going to use it, sorry about the hijack.  My compressor is mounted just in front of the negative post on the battery in his pic.    I took the battery out and mounted the compressor, then re-installed the battery.  I used the hole where the seat support on the OEM seat is mounted.  I have Ultimate seats.  My compressor is mounted with one bolt.  This made it handy for my horns which are the el cheapo plastic ones as far as the hose.  I have them mounted on a piece of aluminum which is attached to one of the side stand bolts underneath the swingarm.  This also made a short run to the added fuse panel underneath the right side cover. YMMV.

A friend of mine is ordering an air horn from Wolo and they offer quite a few horns and loudness and cheap in price ... they have one horn that has the compressor all in one package ,the Bad Boy ,  but I can't tell how big it is .... from the picture it might be a booger to mount neat and compact ... so I think the double horn set up and one compact compressor just might be the ticket .... Thank you all for the good ideas and your set-ups look really nice and neat ..... Thanks the Geezer crazy2

With electric horns, you don't need no steenkin compressor. I got the BigBF quad horns; hidden under the engine between the exhaust, 4x136dB car horns. Wail of the banshee!!

Hey Hoser , that doesn't look that bad , I like that !!!  is it pretty loud you think enough to get these dummies ATTENTION with their cell phones screwed in their ear .... I've got those chrome hangers on my bike and that spot looks pretty compact .... I don't think with the way its shaped it could mount anywhere else on the bike other than underneath , I guess ... what do you think Hoser ? Thanks the Geezer crazy2

You would have to lose the hangers, I had one underneath, did not work well in the rain.  It is plenty loud, where it is on my bike.   Not as loud as the BF quads, though.  Hoser  Smiley

OLD GEEZER you are a genius!!
I have the Audiovox cruise control to install this spring, and have been regretting the loss of the tool tray area where I had planned to put all my extra relays and electrical panel/fuse box.
I have the hanger covers on order, and will now see if I can mount the cruise servo in FRONT of the battery. I would never have thought of that. It will be easier to compleatly weatherproof the cruise than the relays! Thanx.

Hey Phred , I didn't do nuthing !!!! uglystupid2 but thank you for the compliment for these old ears , EHHH !! The suggestion about putting elect. stuff like horns , fuse boxes etc. under neath I don't care for myself because of all the road crude, mud and water .... I would rather put my elect.'s some place where its nice and dry ..... but I am thinking about those two WOLO air horns and compressor set up and for the price  , just cheap insurance ..... Thanks the Geezer crazy2
