Hello I put in garys dampers now I am trying to put in flange(new also) how hard should it be. I am trying a rubber mallet and last half inch does not want to go any help would be great Thanks Matt

Mine slid right in. Old O-rings not removed? Somethings not lined up.

I would contact Gary about that. As I recall he has invited at least one other customer with such trouble to contact him.

I believe I had problems slidding the flange back into the rim when it had fallen out.
How about alignment? Loosen the plate that holds the dampers in, put the flange in and see if it will now go the whole way. Then tighten the plate back up.
