we live close enough to ride down for the day, so we met some other Valk and Wing folks for lunch after we finally found the place.  Then to Destination Daytona.  Pretty busy, but I have seen busier in years past.  Talked the folks at the Kuryakyn tent into trading out some pegs that were flaking off.  Not usually that lucky, but it worked out.
Probably did around 275 miles today, smoked some "other" bikes on the way home.  cooldude

sorry about the pics, didn't take the camera.  And I understand about the pics.  Should have taken it.  There were some nice bikes.  Some classics and saw several Valkyries.  Lightfoot saw a Valk pulling a canoe on a trailer, I was busy driving at the time.

We went to the Deland Bikefest Saturday, never made it over to Daytona. Kim rode on the back of my Valk as she isn't ready to get back on her own just yet. Valks were very well represented there, I was quite impressed saw at least 12!
We got to roll on by a couple of, "lesser bikes", but not at the speeds you did Terry!  2funny
We met Kim's brother who was down from NC & also met up with Mooner & Diane. Had a great time, Deland was crowded but more laid back than Daytona. Got a touch of stomach flu so we rolled on back to the condo in Astor to chill out there afterward.
Love that river!

We'll hit Daytona & the 3/12 Duffs luncheon next weekend.  cooldude

Down on Mainstreet Friday night I saw the same Valk towing the canoe. A couple from Vermont towing a green canoe with all of their camping gear and luggage and 2 bicycles and a small propane tank and gas grill mounted up on the tongue. It was one of the more interesting rigs there this weekend. I tried to get some pix but they didn't come out very well. they were happy campers for sure.
