My wife lost her Dad this afternoon. She is a daddy's girl and she was the apple of his eye.
He was the kind of man I could only aspire to be, a great family man and provider, proudly served his country in the Navy and a man of God. He knew where he was going and wasn't afraid, and went peacfully without pain. I can't imagine how much more blessed a person could be.

We all know he is in a better place now and we will see him again some day but it is kind of hard for the folks still here. Special thanks to our dear friends Pat and Carolyn Schmidt, Lori and Carl, F6Gal and Michael for the special prayers last night.

Look forward to seeing all of you this summer in Michigan at InZane.  Smiley

We were all saddened as the inevitable progressed.  You can't ask for much more than going peacefully, without pain, and knowing that God is waiting.
The fortunate thing for Andrea is that now she is the apple of your eye.  You are providing her strength and support in her father's stead.  Prayers for you both.
