You can probably get on from PinWall for a reasonable price.

Just so you know, I think three other Hondas use the same taillight lens, but the mount parts, while close are not correct, and to work need subtle modification (I don't have details).  I ordered new parts and am very happy to have the stock std taillight under my trunk (and also on my supervalk) (I hear there can be a clearance issue if the IS trunk has the OE CB mounted underneath the trunk).

Parts list: (this is a couple years old so the prices may have changed a bit)

Honda standard/tourer taillight 33701-MZO-67117

RUBBER boot
80122-MZ0-000 001 $5.67

01 COLLAR
17216-HA7-670 002 $3.40

21 RUBBER washer
80219-KCZ-000 002 $2.50

23 BOLT, FLANGE (5X25)
90112-GG2-900 002 $2.50

Maybe the wiring harnesses for the std/tourer

33701-MZ0-671  tail light assembly  $110.65
80122-MZ0-000  rubber  $5.67
32102-MZ0-000  wiring sub-assembly  $5.52
32103-MZ0-000  wiring sub-assembly  $8.86

I used the wiring harness sub-assemblies from a Standard and they tied right in to the Interstate system (except for one wire) without cutting anything.  For the one wire, I just connected it and taped it to the standing part of the I/S wiring harness because I did not want to alter the original I/S harness.  I could have made a better connection if I didn't mind cutting the original harness.  Curtis'

I had a '03 Sabre fender in my garage that appeared to be identical but it may have had some subtle difference, I did not do a side-by-side comparison.

Jess, got a pic of that setup?  I'd like to see it.

Not on hand, I'll have to take one and email you.  Cannot find a pic on-line.

Mine got mounted during a tire change without removing the lower fender half.  Later, I replaced the 1157 bulb with an LED array board.

I've been watching Pinwall for months for a rear lamp, one only, and the bidding went over the $75 I'm willing to pay for a used part.
Honda is looking for around $125 for the whole kit, I found this for Sabre/Valk, $71.99

Sorry to be late to this, Paul, but check with Wanderer.  He might still have a trike take-off taillight/turn signal assembly, or two.  I got one from him last year to replace the piddly kury thing that was on Janet's VT1100T when we got it.  It's the same, so you can expand your search to include VT1100T (ACE Tourer).  Strike that last brain fart!  The license plate bracket / turn signal assemblies are the same, NOT the taillight.

Phred, is that an entire assembly or just the clear lens?

I talked to a customer service rep. and he said it was the entire assembly. Clear lens with a red bulb.        uglystupid2

I may have an extra. My 2001 I/S has the SuperValk conversion, when I got it I noticed when applying the brake, the illuminated running lite went out and no brake lite. So I bought another tail lite assembly and as I was ready to install it I thought "no lite on when brakes applied? DUH.........................." It's a no brainer! If you GROUND a test lite while checking for power and it works, then under normal op's it doesn't.............CHECK YOUR GROUND!!!!

Let me check my bag of goodies when I get home

I re-read the ad, and you're right. It might be just the lens. I'll have to call if I actually get around to buying one...
