Since it has about 8 inches of back support, I do not see the problem.  I kinda like it. Somebody will make another seat with a higher backrest.

So, if you want a crotch rocket that's a touring bike wanna-be....this is your baby. To me, it still looks like a crotch rocket with some bags and a trunk thrown on like an aftermarket afterthought. All those electronic trinkets are nice, but I don't need them. Just give me a basic cruiser with smooth power to spare, trouble free, long...low....and comfy for those 6-700 mile days. And, I don't need an electrical engineer to fix the fool thing when one of those elec. gadgets goes awry.

OH.....I already have a bike like that. It's called a Valkyrie. A basic cruiser with smooth power to spare, trouble free, long...low....and comfy for those 6-700 mile days. Maybe if Honda hears it enough times it's kinda like an alarm clock in the next room....it eventually will wake you up. Ya think? Naaawww!!!   tickedoff

I think that Beemer will be a great buy in a couple years in the used or leftover markets. The Valkyries, well, they're a great buy today.

i hate to say it boys........and......you all know it:    "MR. TOJO-HONDA"  IS NOT EVER GOING TO COME BACK OUT WITH A VALKYRIE, PERIOD!!!!!  if he was, he would have already.  they don't care about you, or me, or whether we buy another honda or not.  it's like this....the BIG WAVE probably washed the joint machine back out to sea.

IMHO the Rocket III Tourer is the only bike still being made that comes close to what the Valk offers. I saw one of these the other day at the BMW dealer.  It was sweet!!!

The problem with Socialists is they eventually run out of other people's money to spend!

Some people are too stupid to realize how ignorant they are.

The Rocket III is so much more bike than the silly BMW which is nothing more than an updated version of a Honda 1979 CBX. Only with less soul.

Yeah, that BMW sure is sweet. How bold and inventive of BMW.

But I so agree, Honda doesn't want to make anything anymore except Civics and lawnmowers.
