The new guy at work is a Harley driver. We we out at a sight today waiting on a call and BS'ing. I said that it was almost my one year anniversery from lawn darting my bike and that this year I was going to wait for Penn Dot to broom the road off. I said that I only get a little over 4K miles in a year with kids and work. He said that his was a 2006 and he had 6K on it. I asked if those trailers came with it when you bought a Harley or were they a factory option?  Evil
He took it pretty well  cooldude I will guilt him into riding to work.

Yep... it needs to stop snowing, so they can stop salting.  As for them cleaning up the roads... HA... I think Mother Nature needs to wash it all away with some good strong rains.  I can't recall the last time I seen street sweepers.

I like to wait to get the stuff cleared up as well.....

Penn DOT still brooms the highway. Not a street sweeper but a construction broom mounted to a tandem.

Look a lot like this. There is a lot of crushed river rock left over after the snow. Right now the edges past the driving area are orange so much so that rain isn't going to do it, and a lot of fines are left on the road

Last year they broomed as I was being driven to the ortho, about 9AM, then day after my wreck.  tickedoff

Anyway, this guy also told me he took the wheel weights off because they made his wheel look bad and he didnt ride fast anyway....  Shocked

If I waited till the sand was off the roads, I'd still be parked!  Just be careful.  Hoser   Shocked
