it blows me away on how many people get day light saving time screwed up with standard time!! and every fall the news, or stupid people, start the question of getting rid of DLST.

as of right now, we are on DLST and not Standard time.  it's great 'cause in the middle of summer the sun isn't coming up at 4am!!  and setting at 8pm!!  it's set to getting up at 5am, and setting at 9pm....  you get more "time" to enjoy the three months of summer that you get!!

i'm glad they extended DLST a full month, i'd love to see them get rid of "standard" time and go to DLST all together!!

Have a crew working down town Austin this morning that started with a 6:00 AM call time.  I made sure to contact everyone last night to remind them about the time change.

The call sheet states "Day exterior".  Guess they sat around for 1.5hrs on the clock waiting for the sun to come up...first shot is not until 10:00AM. crazy2

My alarm clock does it on its own. And I didn't need to set the alarm anyway so I decided since it's the weekend and I'm off it just didn't matter. I did the other clocks this afternoon Tongue  uglystupid2

Sunday we wound up fairly early even though we did set our clocks. The day was full of buying comics, eating good food, and working in the flower beds. It was a good day. Monday was harder to get out of bed on time than Sunday.

..today it was full light before 7AM and will be light until after 8 this evening - in another month or so will be 24 hour daylight (includes twilight when the sun isn't actually above the horizon) through till late August - mid May will be 24 hour sunlight.

We don't do that here.  I think the Navajos do, but its their nation, they can do what they want.
