I am trying to organize a Memorial Day ride to The High Ground Veterans Memorial in Neillsville, WI. If you haven't ever had a chance to go to The High Ground, this will be a special opportunity for you to see it and take a nice ride along the way.
We will be leaving Monday May 30th at 9:00am from the kwik trip truck stop in Tomah, WI.  If you are interested in joining us, please email me at yaman6004me@hotmail.com for more details coming later.
Thanks,
Dave          www.cruisinthebackroads.com

Remind people here as the date draws near. I live in Chippewa and will stay tuned in. however I may have to march in a parade or my be trying to finnish up a state wide poker run. Other active members in Eau Claire are Elf & Nitro both pretty nice people. Nitro has put a post on the Wi. board .  Those of you who have never been there near Neilsville Wi. should go see it.

Thanks for the information.  I also posted this on the Wisconsin board.  Hopefully we will get some riders from around the area to join us.

Our ride is all set. I took a trial run on it on Tuesday to make sure there were no surprises with the roads. It looks like the weather is hopefully going to cooperate with us and it should be a great time.
If anyone else would like to ride with us, just be at the Kwik Trip Truck stop on Tomah's north end of town before 9:00am on Monday.
Come join us as we head to The High Ground for the Memorial Day Ceremony to honor the memory of the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

THANKS to everyone who came and rode with us on Memorial Day. It was a good day! The weather cooperated, everyone made it safely home as far as I know, and most of all we got to honor our fallen soldiers at the ceremony at The High Ground.
If you didn't get a chance to take the audio tour while we were there, go back on a day that isn't so busy and you will get a chance to really get the full emotional feeling of this great memorial park.
Thanks again, Dave Keene
