Aced the written test...but it was almost TOO easy anyway. I actually
did better than I expected shooting an unarmed paper target. One thing
I DID learn is that I need a lot of practice. Never did fire a handgun very
much and it showed. I managed to put all 48 rounds in the black, but I
would have been happier if more of them had been closer to center mass.
About 2/3 of them were in the center 2 circles. Not bad for a rookie.
I took my Taurus 357 revolver to fire for record, but also took the new
Taurus 111 so I could see how it felt. I really like it, but the two-dot
sights are going to take some getting use to. May end up getting a set
of three-dot night sights. My eyes ain't as young as they used to be! coolsmiley

Actually, the one WITH the bullseye might be the safest one in
the crowd!! But just wait till I've practiced for a few years and a
few hundred thousand rounds.....THEN maybe I can probably have
a chance of hitting closer to the target almost!! Grin

Congrats Bob, glad you did it.  Check out  www.opencarry.com  You'd be surprised where all you can carry openly legally. I don't care to do that as I'd rather not broadcast that I carry at all.
