It's not terrible but I think over time you just get used to all the scratches ya know? I think I'll get me one of those one that was advertised on here and at one of our gatherings with the windshield wiper and steel wool going across it. Break out the wallet, hopefully their not to dag much, anybody remember the name or comparable ones for a good price?

They are certainly more expensive than other shields, but considering you're replacing due to scratches, that should say something about the real cost.
They're here: F4 Customs Windshields

I have 1 from F6. I believe I bought it at the 2nd INZANE in Johnson City. It's still as clear as when I bought it.

How do you measure up the windshield? I love the one I currently have; it is about 18" from the very top to the top of the chrome piece up front (interstate). Do they measure the "entire" width of the shield or just what's showing??

You measure the whole shield. OE is 15.5" with .5" below the chrome garnish (All shields for IS will be .5" below the garnish). Go to the Clearview site and look at their selection for IS......... for sizes, even if you don't buy from them.
If yours is 18", it is not OE.... probably BBP/Show Chrome or Tulsa.

I brought a F4 windshield last Dec when they had 10% off. I called them up and I told them that I would like the wider W/S but not taller than stock so he said that they could sell me a taller/wider w/s and cut it down for another $25. I told them sounds good but then made it an 1/2" taller than stock. It looks great but I've riden the bike yet. I think for a extra $100 for a w/s that does not scratch is cheap.
